OK, we're all busy. And many of us are eating or avoiding our kids' Halloween candy. But I know you have a book open. . .
so just check in quickly, in comments or in a post of your own, with one book that you're reading right now, just title and author -- and category if you so choose). I'll start:
The Not-So-Big Life, by Sarah Susanka (nonfiction)
I'm a little between books at the moment. I finished my A. S. Byatt book of short stories and read one of the Edith Warton short stories I had planned for next. The Edith Warton one was a very classic sort of ghost story and made me scared to go upstairs to the bathroom, due to my unwisely reading it home alone at night! I've tried reading the second story a couple of times this week (with husband at home to protect me from ghosts!), but it was too late to be reading, and I kept dozing off a couple paragraphs in. Now I'm deciding whether to give it another try or just pick something else.
